On November 15th, 2014, the Centre hosted a small group from the Evanston First Presbyterian Church, IL. Accompanied by Rev. Raymond Hylton and Dan McNerney, the group enjoyed their time, and were able to visit both with patients and with various members of our staff. SMC appreciates their support, and the opportunity to share with them about the importance of our peacebuilding and healthcare mandate. We look forward to a continued strong partnership with the congregation.

We welcome any other visitors who are interested in learning more about our work to get in touch. We look forward to seeing you here soon!

Operating Theater - 2009

We are thrilled to announce that the operating theatre is back in use again. Following a delay of nearly 2 years, as we worked tirelessly to meet updated requirements, we are very pleased to be able to offer this additional service again. We have added a new inpatient floor with 10 beds and an elevator, in addition to widening the reception area. Given the extended delay, we are now working day and night to reduce the backlog of patients waiting for services and reduce any further wait times. We are grateful to everybody - especially our patients and their families - for your patience during this extended and unanticipated delay.
Intensive Care Unit - 2009

It is our pleasure to inform you that our intensive care unit is now fully equipped. We are fully operational and ready to receive patients. We know that being in intensive care is a challenging time for patients and their families. We hope that the care we provide will offer peace and healing during a difficult time.
